Environmental qualities and characteristics product information sheet

In order to provide the consumer with clearer, more honest and more understandable information about the “environmental qualities and characteristics of waste-generating products” (Q&C), Article 13 I of the French Law on the Fight Against Waste and the Circular Economy of 10 February, 2020 (AGEC) asks producers and importers to make certain information available to the consumer for each product. This includes: compostability, the incorporation of recycled material, opportunities for re-use, recyclability, the presence of precious metals and rare earths, the presence of dangerous substances, geographical traceability, the presence of plastic microfibres and the premiums or penalties paid, for each product, for its environmental performance.
